Biography

I am a researcher in bioinformatics and biostatistics. I work on development and application of innovative computational algorithms and statistical models on genomics and population level data analysis. My projects include complex network analysis, machine learning, data visualization and analysis in high performance computing environment. My work was published in high impact journals such as Nature, JCI, JAAD, BJD and I gave several talks/posters on international conferences. I am also one of the editorial board members for Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association and serve as peer reviewer for top biomedical informatics journals such as JMIR, JAMIA, JBI. My goal is to improve the life quality of patients through better understanding diseases via computational research.
